Privacy choices
Cookie and browser storage policy.
This policy explains the technologies this website may use and how visitors can control optional analytics.
Effective date: August 20, 2026
This policy should be read with the Privacy Policy. The production policy should be reviewed against the final hosting, analytics, form, advertising, and consent configuration before launch.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Websites may also use similar technologies, including local storage, to remember a visitor's choices or support site functions. Some technologies are necessary for a requested service. Others, including many analytics or advertising technologies, may require consent depending on the visitor's location and the applicable law.
2. What this website currently uses
| Technology | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
redwood_cookie_consent in local storage | Necessary | Remembers whether the visitor selected necessary-only storage or approved analytics. | Until the visitor changes the choice, clears browser data, or the site changes the setting. |
Google Analytics is configured to remain off unless a visitor approves analytics. The contact form prepares a draft in the visitor's email application; it does not send information until the visitor reviews and sends that email.
3. Analytics that may be enabled for production
If Redwood enables Google Analytics 4, the analytics tag will load only after the visitor selects Accept analytics. The necessary-only choice prevents the analytics tag from loading. Google Analytics may then use first-party cookies such as the following:
| Possible cookie | Provider | Purpose | Typical maximum duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Helps distinguish site visitors and measure aggregate website use. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<property> | Google Analytics | Helps maintain and measure a visitor session for the configured property. | Up to 2 years |
Actual names and durations should be verified through a production cookie audit after analytics is installed. Redwood has not configured advertising or remarketing cookies in this website.
4. Your choices
When no prior choice is stored, the website presents a consent notice with two options:
- Necessary only: optional analytics does not load.
- Accept analytics: analytics may load if a valid production measurement ID has been configured.
Visitors can reopen the consent notice through the Cookie settings control in the footer. Browser settings can also delete cookies and local storage. Blocking or deleting necessary storage may cause the website to ask for the choice again.
5. Third-party services
Production hosting, analytics, embedded media, customer relationship systems, and form processors may process technical or personal information under their own policies. These providers must be listed in the final Privacy Policy and reflected in this Cookie Policy before their technologies are activated.
6. Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, service providers, laws, or data practices change. A revised effective date will be posted at the top of this page.
7. Contact
Questions about privacy or cookie choices can be submitted through the contact page or emailed to contact@redwoodholdingsllc.com.
